About me.

I have been working as a Counsellor with various backgrounds for over 15 years.

When describing myself, I would highlight my commitment to fostering a supportive and understanding environment. I believe in the importance of active listening and empathy in building effective communication. My approach is rooted in a deep respect for individual experiences and perspectives. I aim to equip people with the tools they need to navigate their challenges, promoting personal growth and resilience. My background in counselling has provided me with a diverse set of skills to facilitate meaningful conversations and create positive change. Overall, I strive to be a compassionate and constructive presence in the lives of those I work with..

I have achieved my Diploma in Transnational Analysis Counselling at the very well known Metanoia Institute in London.

What is Transactional Analysis.

TA is a psycho-therapeutic approach that includes elements of psychoanalytic, humanistic and cognitive theories.

The Philosophy

  • People are OK: each person has validity, importance, equality of respect

  • Positive reinforcement increases feelings of being OK

  • All people have a basic lovable core and a desire for positive growth

  • All individuals have a positive value for them in some way

  • People decide their story and destiny, therefore these decisions can be changed

  • All emotional difficulties are curable

My Approach.

My main approach is Relational Transactional Analysis which focuses its attention on the therapeutic relationship as the central feature in effective therapy. The quality of relationship between client and therapist and its dynamics become essential to discover and unfold the unconscious processes.

My Belief.

I believe that a safe and warm space can enable growth. In my work there is no judgement to whatever thoughts, feelings, problems or worries you share with me. My aim is to support you and gently help you to  recognise your emotions. Together we can find ways to increase your acceptance of things you cannot change, and to make sensible, positive changes. Together, we will explore different ways to support yourself.
